This next video is part one of a great three part series I found showing how to construct some classic kitchen cabinets from scratch and get a really great result. In my time woodworking plans I’ve built a whole bunch of kitchens and your ability to produce great cabinetry represents one of the best projects you can learn in terms of money potential. Cabinet sets can sell for a lot depending on what you make them out of and the quality of the finished product.

You can even make demos out of cheap materials as a way of advertising your ability to produce better stuff to order, like using a more expensive maple or mahogany wood, both of which are very popular in the modern kitchen. In part one, we cut some grooves and just get into the simple stuff. It’s by Yankee workshop, one of the best online resources for aspiring woodworkers.
