This next video is something slick and is great for all of the visual learners out there. I remember struggling a lot in high school before I started in the trades, and one reason is that I didn’t learn well by having things said to me many times, or by reading things in a book. When I started doing carpentry, I was much better when people showed things to me in a visual way or in a presentation. When I post videos, I try to find great examples of people giving instructions but also showing the steps they go through when building great projects. Here, you can see an awesome explanation of how to make some great concrete stairs. If you’re not into instructional stuff, this is great because all we see is an animation of how to do the project. Watch it once, twice, five times, and then try it out for yourself and see how it turns out!
